Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you ask for the bedtime extras for The Big Book of Children's Stories, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The data controller is Mariam Noris, Via Sicilia 16, 20099 Sesto San Giovanni (MI), Italy, email bonuslibri2026@libero.it. Write to this address for any privacy question or request.
What we collect
- Your name and email address (both required on the form).
- That you ticked the consent box (the form cannot be sent without it).
- The date, time and IP address of your sign-up and of your confirmation click, kept as proof of your consent.
We do not ask for, and do not want, any data about children. The form is for parents and other adults.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- Sending the extras you asked for (access to the download page after you confirm your email, a welcome email with the link to the bonuses, and three short emails about the extras, one a week): your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- News about new books (an occasional newsletter): your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Proof of consent and security: our legitimate interest in showing that you asked to sign up, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We confirm every new address with a double opt-in email. We never sell or rent your data.
Who processes the data for us
Our email service GetResponse (GetResponse S.A., Poland) stores the list and sends the emails on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). If data is transferred outside the EU, this happens under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
These pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore sends your IP address to Google when a page opens.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Proof of consent is kept for as long as we need it to show that the consent was given.
Your rights
- Withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us. This does not affect anything done before.
- Ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy in a portable format (Art. 15–20 GDPR).
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
- Complain to a data protection authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This site does not use cookies. When you tap “Unlock all the bonuses”, the form sends your name and email directly to GetResponse, which then sends you a confirmation email; the download page opens after you confirm. The download page remembers your paper size (A4 or US Letter) in your own browser’s local storage; this stays on your device and is never sent to us.
